Twin Cam

Last few 1500s had Singer short stroke SM engine, giving 65 bhp from 1497cc and 95 mph. A few "Aerodynamic" models were built with full width bodies, on the 1500 chassis. Twin Cam of 1955 had a further re-working of the Singer SM engine now giving 108 bhp. Chassis was twin tube and had all round independent suspension, all round disc brakes and alloy wheels. Full width alloy sports body was reasonably attractive, but too much competition from mass manufacturers killed it off in 1956 after only four built.
