The only passenger car by Hindustan Motors is the Ambassador Mark 3 produced since 1957. It is the British Morris Oxford Series III of the 50's, further developed, revised again and again and specially adapted to the local road conditions. Best seller on the Indian market. Production rose from 9,322 in 1975 to 16,422 in 1976.
