Husky - new model
In 1967, Chrysler took full control of Rootes.
Although not the prettiest Imp derivative nobody could deny the impressive load capability of the 1967 Hillman Husky. Reprising the name used on earlier Hillman estate cars the new Husky feature a two door body with a large opening rear hatch and sliding side windows. Its high roofline give plenty of interior space and lead the way towards a van derivative (sold as a "Commer Cob"). Underneath the rear luggage floor there is the 875cc Imp engine which develops around 39bhp.
