Gurgel Xavante

The Gurgel, built in Brazil since 1966, is an elegant VW buggy, which is now also available as a military and police vehicle. It uses 1300, 1500 or 1600 VW engines as well as the wheel suspensions, but no longer the platform of the VW Beetle. There is a tubular frame instead.
