Post war successor to pre-war chain driven sports cars, the 1948 "Competition" model has 120 bhp Bristol 1971cc six engine, with big valves, and triple carbs, giving 118 mph top speed. Channel section chassis has transverse leaf ifs, torsion bar / live axle rear, and wheels are centre lock discs. Alloy body is narrow with small cut away doors, fold flat screen and cycle wings, and zero creature comforts.
