The Brazilian Ford plant is building two mid-range models and a top-of-the-range series based on US models. The two-door sedan and the station wagon (Berlina) were introduced in 1968, largely revised in 1977 as Corcel II. Equipment: Normal, L and LDO. All with 1.4 liters of 55 hp. Additional sedan GT with 60 hp.
The US model Maverick came in 1973 and is offered as a four-door sedan (S and SL) and as a coupe (S, SL and GT). Engines are 2.3 liter 99 hp and 5 liters 199 hp. There are also the top-class Galaxie 500, LTD and Landau models. All four-door sedans with 5 liter V8 and 199 hp. Automatic on request.
