The Delahaye 1939 range includes a 4-cylinder Type 134 G and six 6-cylinder models: the Type 135 M with a single carburettor, the Type 135 M Compétition with three carburetors, the Type 135 M Special also with three carburetors, but with a higher compression ratio, the Type 148 Léger, the luxury Type 148 and the Type 168. On top of the range there is the vee 12-cylinder Type 165, introduced at the Paris Show in October last year. It was the most advanced and most beautiful car at the show. Unfortunately, this astonishing model not reached the stage of production. In addition to its passenger and sports models, Delahaye also produces 1.5 to 7 tonne commercial vehicles and by the end of the year the production line was busy with intensive manufacture of military equipment.
