The 8CV D4 proved too expensive to successfully compete against the popular Citroen, Peugeot and Renaults. For next year it will be offered in only one body style.
Production of the largest D8 stopped in the early autumn of last year but it is still offered as some chassis remain in stock.
Facing failure of its small models: D4, D6-11 and D8-15, for the next year Delage introduced three new luxury cars: the 6-cylinder 15 CV D6-65, 8-cylinder 20 CV D8-85 and 20 CV D8-105. The D6-65 and the D8-85 are identical except for the engine size and longer bonnet on 8-cylinder models. The D8-105 is a more sporty model whose 3.6 litre engine is pushed up to 100 bhp. They are the first Delage to have an inclined grille.
