The new Formula 1 DB with a supercharged 745 cc engine made its debut at Grand Prix Pau. Having 85 b.h.p. on his disposal Paul Armagnac had no chance against 230-250 b.h.p. rivals like Maserati, Lancia and Ferrari.

Formual 1 DB at GP Pau.

Four cars were entered for the 24h Le Mans but only two crossed the finish line without achieving any great results.
