Citroën C4 was presented in the October 1928 at the Paris salon. Offered in many body versions: berline (4 windows, with trunk), conduite intérieure (6 windows, without trunk), familiale (with a 12 cm longer wheelbase ), 2-seat faux-cabriolet, 4-seat faux-cabriolet (with additional windows), 2 and 4-seat cabriolets, torpédo luxe, torpédo commercial (avec hayon), torpedo, torpedo-familiale. For 1930 (October '29) it underwent minor modernizations (C4 III). It can be distinguished by having different wheels. Prices range from 22,900 to 29,500 francs. In October, it was replaced by a modernized C4 F. The changes affected the engine, transmission and brakes. The instrument panel with five indicators is also new.
The C6 also appeared in October 1928 and for 1930 it exists as C6 F with chrome hubcaps and a larger wheelbase. It costs between 30,600 and 38,000 francs. A luxury coupé de ville for 43500 F is available on special order.
Citroën C4 został zaprezentowany w paździeniku 1928 na salonie w Paryżu. Oferowany jest w wielu wersjach nadwoziowych: berline (4 okna, z bagażnikiem), conduite intérieure (6 okien, bez bagażnika), familiale (z większym o 12 cm rozstawem osi), faux-cabriolet 2 miejscowy, faux-cabriolet 4 miejscowy (z dodatkowymi oknami), kabriolety 2 i 4 miejscowe, torpédo luxe, torpédo commercial (avec hayon), torpedo, torpedo-familiale. Na rok 1930 (październik '29) przeszedł drobne modernizacje (C4 III). Można go odróżnić po innych kołach. Ceny wahają się od 22900 do 29500 franków. Produkowany był do września 1930.
W październiku zastąpił go zmodernizowany C4 F. Zmiany obięły silnik, skrzynię biegów i hamulce. Nowa jest tablica przyrządów z pięcioma wskaźnikami.
C6 również pojawił się w październiku 1928 i na rok 1930 istnieje jako C6 F z chromowanymi kołpakami na kołach i większym rozstawem kół. Kosztuje od 30600 do 38000 franków. Na specjalne zmówienie można otrzymać luksusowy
coupé de ville w cenie 43500 F.

Series designated C 4 III or C 4 NT (nouveau tableau) from October 1929. The trade name remains C 4 (type chassis AC 4). New wheels. Sun visor with V-shaped stamping. New pistons, cardan shaft. Round instruments with black background on elongated plate. External luggage compartment and optional driver separation on conduite intérieure and familiale. New conduite intérieure commerciale (on chassis long) with double rear tailgate and removable side panels, the latter at an additional cost. New body for the torpédo commerciale, also fitted on the long chassis: square doors, flat tailgate, spare wheel on the left side.
At the October 1930 Salon: C 4 F range (AC 4 F type) with mechanical modifications: cylinder head with added water outlet, engine supports with silent-blocs, smaller gearbox housing, handbrake on transmission (lever to the right of the gear lever), longer springs, 5-bolt rims.
