2CV is available with two different engines: 13.5 and 16.5 b.h.p. The more powerfull version AZAM is distinguishable by chrome bumper overrides and a small wheel hub caps.
January: Seatbelts are optional on 2CV. For this the chassis and body have been modified.
February: Indicator control on the steering column.
March: Rear lights with integrated licenseplate light.
June: Tubeless tires and modified rims.
Ami 6 Break estate-car was introduced at the Paris Motor Show. The engine power was incresed to 26 b.h.p.
Some more expensive version of the 19 are equipped with additional front fog lamps. The smallest ID engine output was increased to 75 b.h.p. Versions with 83 b.h.p. units are called ID 19 Export.
Yet another variant on the Citroen self-levelling suspension theme has been announced by the British Concessionaires. This is the ID Super, which is basically an ID with the addition of power-assisted steering and brakes, a revised facia, more powerful engine (75 b.h.p. at 4,500 r.p.m.), reclining front seats and various other luxury items. The new car costs £t,437 compared with £t,298 for the normal ID. Other models in the range are unchanged.
