The General Motors subsidiary in Brazil builds two passenger car series, both are from German Opel licence. The Opel Kadett is called in the Brazilian version Chevrolet Chevette with 1.4 liters 60 hp and four-speed gearbox driving rear wheels. Notchback saloon with two and since October 1978 with four doors.
The Opala / Caravan SS series is based on the Opel Rekord C. Two- or four-door sedan, a coupe or as a caravan with three doors.
The Commodoro range, with 2.5 and 4.1 liter engines was discontinued without replacement.
