GMB offers two model series under name Chevrolet, which were derived from the Opel Kadett and Rekord. In the autumn of 1977 there was a major overhaul and also a partial streamlining of the model range. The Chevette got a completely new face.
Opala, four-door sedan and caravan (station wagon) with 2.5 liter inline four-cylinder 80 hp. SS as a two-door sedan and now also as the SS Caravan.
Comodoro only two- and four-door sedans. SS-4 and Comodoro-4 with 2.5 liter 88 hp and SS-6 and Comodoro-6 with 4.1 liter inline six-cylinder 149/127 hp.
