Austin 1100 Saloon was unveiled in the summer of 1963. This Longbridge-produced version of the Morris 1100 announced in the summer of 1962 is distinguishable mainly by its front grille of eight horizontal wavy bars and central badges front and rear. Available in two- and four-door versions with standard or de luxe trim.
The Morris/Austin and M.G. 1100 series now have diaphragm spring clutches and an improved heating.

Austin A110 Westminster Mk II replaced the Mk I in May. Features a new four-speed gearbox, with overdrive available as an option rather than as standard, modified suspension, smaller wheels with larger section tyres and self adjusting brakes. The standard version has an anodised aluminium mesh grille and bonnet scoop, vinyl upholstery and a simplified facia whereas the Super De Luxe has luxury fittings and features the Mk I radiator grille.
