Nowy Sprite ma wzmocniony silnik, zmienione tylne zawieszenie i przednią szybę.


Austin-Healey Sprite Mk III superseded the Mk II during the early spring. New features include a curved windscreen, fully winding windows, hinged quarter lights, lockable doors with external press button handles, three-spoke steering wheel and revised facia layout and instrumentation, 59 bhp 1098 engine, front disc brakes and wire wheels available as an option and semi elliptic rear springs.

Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III. Replacement for the Mk II, this version feature engine modifications including greatly increased power output and different carburettors, servo-assisted brakes, a wood veneer facia and a central, console-mounted gear lever.

The Austin Healey 3000 and Sprite remain in the Mk. III form in which they appeared earlier this year.
