Austin-Healey Sprite AN7 replaced the AN6 in the autumn of 1962. Numerous changes include a larger engine (1098-cc producing 55 bhp), Lockheed front disc brakes, modifications to the gearbox, improvements to the driving compartment and modified instrumentation. Wire wheels are optionally available.

Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III replaced the Mk II. This version feature engine modifications including greatly increased power output and different carburettors, servo-assisted brakes, a wood veneer facia and a central, console-mounted gear lever.
