We wrześniu model 80 otrzymał nowe silniki. 1,6 o mocy 110 KM wyposażony jest w elektroniczny wrtysk benzyny. Kombi budowane jest wyłącznie na eksport.


The front-drive Audi 80 is imported in five different versions, 80L, 8OLS, 8OGL, 8OGT, and Estate GL. The 'L' model has a 1.3-litre engine, and all, except the Estate and GT are four-door saloons. For 1976 the larger-engined models are increased from 1500 to 1600 cc, and performance will be a little higher. Normal transmission is by a four-speed manual gearbox, but LS and GL models have an automatic option. The motor enlargement brings the bigger engined saloons in line with the two-door high-performance GT which has been a 1.6-litre model since its introduction last year.
