Czterodrzwiowa wersja modelu 80 została wprowadzona do sprzedaży w marcu a usportowiony GT we wrześniu.
Model 100 przeszedł małą modernizację otrzymując nieco mniejszy wlot powietrza i nowe lampy tylne.

Since its introduction in 1968, this German front-drive model has gained an enviable reputation for performance, stamina and high-quality finish. For 1974 several modifications have been made including a new grille, bonnet and wings, and the rear axle and mountings are now similar to those on the smaller Audi 80 range. Audi 100s all have four-cylinder water-cooled engines, the 100 and IOOLS models being powered by 1760 c.c, versions, but the GLs and 100S Coupés have more powerful 1871 -c.c. derivatives. For 1974 there is provision for rear foglights.
