AMC MATADOR X Price to be announced
Latest sporting model from the American Motors Corporation is the all-new Matador Coupe with wheelbase four inches shorter than other Matadors. It is also several inches lower. In the U. S. there are three versions, Matador Coupe, Matador X (illustrated), and Brougham with a choice of three different engines, but in Britain the handsome newcomer will be sold only as the Matador X with 5.9-litre V8 engine. Energy-absorbing bumpers are standard equipment. A.M.C.'s Interlock seat belt system renders ignition dead until driver and front passenger are harnessed.
