Alvis 1936 programme comprises Firebird, Silver Eagle Sixteen, Crested Eagle and Speed Twenty models, all available in chassis form or with factory supplied bodywork. Prices of complete cars range from £490 up to £900. In addition there is the 3½-Litre. available only in chassis form. It has a three-carburettor 102-bhp OHV engine of 3571-cc (83x110 mm) capacity. Like the Crested Eagle and the Speed Twenty it has an independent front suspension with a transverse leaf spring. The Speed 20 was produced until 1936, when it became the Speed 25 with 3½-litre engine.
