P 1 został wprowadzony na rynek jesienią (48?), otrzymując wraz z pozostałymi modelami zmodernizowane podwozie z nowym zawieszeniem przednich kół na sprężynach śrubowych.

Allard P1 two-door Saloon first appeared in 1949. It is basically similar to the open cars which heve been in production since 1946, powered by Ford V8 engines and using many other Ford components. The P1 have an aluminium panelled coachbuilt body and sold at £1 277.
