Wyposażony w 5,4 litrowy silnik Cadillaca Allard J2 z numerem startowym 4 zajął 3 miejsce w Le Mans. Pierwszy raz w historii firmy samochód ma niezależne zawieszenie tylnych kół typu De Dion.


Engine options are Ford V8, usually fitted with Ardun ohv conversion, or 3.9 litre and 4.4 litre Mercury V8. American customers could specify Chrysler, Cadillac, or Oldsmobile power
K2 made is K1 replacement with coil sprung ifs, different frontal styling, and luggage boot. Usual engine options.

Allard J2 Sports Roadster is powered by a 6-litre engine and a 440 CID Chrysler V8 respectively (to customer's requirements). A two-door Saloon (Model P1 ) is also available.
