Minor
The Jawa Minor II was prepared during the war. It was presented to the public in autumn 1945. The engine is two stroke, two cylinder liquid cooled with 615 cm³ capacity, giving 20 bhp at 3500 rpm with compression ratio 6:1, using 30:1 gasoline-oil mixture. The engine drives front wheels. The car is equipped with Solex 30 AHR carburettor, electric starter, magneto-battery ignition, single plate dry clutch and four-speed overdrive transmission. The front suspension is by springs with hydraulic telescopic shock absorber, and the rear has lever shock absorbers. Hydraulic brakes and rack-and-pinion steering complete the picture of a truly modern car.
Length 4000 mm, height 1485 mm, clearance 175 mm. Tyres 4.75 (5.00) - 16. Curb weight 690 kg, maximum speed 90 km/h, fuel consumption 7,5 - 8,5 litres per 100 km. Four seater car with streamlined body.
Production started in 1946 in Aero factory, the car is designated Jawa Minor II, the chassis is manufactured in the Walter factory in Jinonice. All those factories are now owned by the state
